第十九届中国西部海外高新科技人才洽谈会在蓉开幕
5名诺贝尔奖获得者，32名海内外院士，100多个海外创新团队，200多名海外高校……9月7日上午，第十九届中国西部海外高新科技人才洽谈会（以下简称“海科会”）开幕式暨天府论坛在四川成都举行。
在往届活动的基础上，本届“海科会”新增了数字经济、航空航天、人工智能、军民融合、超高清视频、碳达峰碳中和、重大自然灾害防治等创新领域、热点领域专场活动，共计22项30余常同时，还将举办2021海外高层次人才创新创业论坛、全球青年学者论坛、航空航天高层次人才对接会、中国科学院青年科学家论坛等引才引智主题活动。特别值得关注的是，大会主分场活动充分运用现代信息化手段，采用了“线下为主、线上线下相结合”的办会模式。
据悉，“海科会”是中国西部地区规格和国际化程度最高、规模最大的科技与人才对外交流合作盛会，对推动中国科学技术发展、促进中国西部地区经济转型升级发挥了重要作用，迄今已成功举办18届。自1995年创办以来，“海科会”累计吸引7000余名海外专家学者来川，累计引进海外高端人才2898人、高新科技项目1000多个，投资金额达3025.47亿元。

Five Nobel Prize winners, 32 academicians at home and apoad, more than 100 overseas innovation teams, more than 200 overseas universities... On the morning of September 7th, the 19th Western China Overseas High-tech and High Talents Conference Opening Ceremony &Sichuan Forum (hereinafter referred to as "OHTC") was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
On the basis of previous events, this year's "OHTC" added 22 items and more than 30 special events in total in innovative and hot areas, such as digital economy, aerospace, artificial intelligence, military-civilian integration, ultra high resolution video, carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and major natural disaster prevention and control. At the same time, it will also host the 2021 Overseas High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, The Global Young Scholars Forum, the High-level Aerospace Talents Matchmaking Meeting, and the Young Scientists Forum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. What is worth paying special attention to is that the main and sub-field activities of the conference make full use of modern information means and adopt the mode of "mainly offline and combining online and offline".
It is reported that the "OHTC" is the largest science and technology exchange and cooperation event with the highest level of internationalization and the largest scale in western China. It has played an important role in promoting the development of China's science and technology and promoting the economic transformation and upgrading of western China. So far, it has been successfully held 18 sessions. Since its establishment in 1995, “OHTC” has attracted more than 7,000 overseas experts and scholars to Sichuan, introduced 2,898 overseas high-end talents and more than 1,000 high-tech projects with an investment of 302.547 billion Yuan.
